Hi, I’m Lydia Pert — HR pro, doctor (but not the kind that can save lives), researcher, author, and perpetual mover thanks to my husband Dave’s military career. Over the past decade+ we’ve called Florida, Colorado, Virginia, Louisiana, New Mexico, Ohio, and New York home, and with each move I’ve collected new stories and lessons that shape who I am. These days, we’re settled on campus at West Point (USMA) in the Hudson Valley, just a short train ride from New York City. I am an unashamed Disney adult, crazy cat lady, and traveler. My husband and I share a goal of stepping foot on all 7 continents…so far we have only checked off 3, but we are working on it!
